How to choose
Four questions settle most of the decision, and each one points at a different tool.
Real photo, or avatar?
Klooset and Genlook render the piece on the photo the shopper uploads. OptiDress builds a 3D avatar from the measurements the shopper declares, with no photo. Neither is better in the abstract: the photo shows the shopper how the piece looks on them, the avatar asks for no photo at all.
Size alone, or size and showing?
True Fit is the long-standing reference for size and fit recommendation, and does that one job deeply. Klooset recommends a size from the retailer's own size guide and shows the piece on the shopper in the same widget. If fit is the only gap in your funnel, a specialist is a legitimate answer.
One widget, or a suite?
Kleep ships six modules and Tolstoy an agent that spans categories. Klooset is one widget with one public price. A suite fits a team that wants to own several surfaces at once, a single widget fits a team that wants one surface working first.
Fashion only, or every category?
Tolstoy's AI Shopper serves many categories. Klooset only does fashion, which is what lets it read your own size guide and build a colour profile. If your catalogue goes well beyond clothing, a generalist covers more of it.
Questions
What should I compare these tools on?
Three things decide most shortlists: what the shopper actually sees, where the size recommendation comes from, and whether the price is public. Most other differences follow from those three.
How are these comparisons checked?
Every competitor fact comes from that company's own public pages, read on 11 September 2026. A feature that does not appear there is marked as not stated, never as missing. If something is out of date, write to hello@klooset.app and we will correct it.
What if I only need size recommendation?
Then a size specialist is a reasonable answer, and the comparison pages say so where it applies. Klooset recommends a size from your own size guide and adds try-on, colour and outfits in the same widget. If fit is the only gap you have, that is more than you need.
Can I see Klooset on my own catalogue?
Yes. A demo runs on your own products rather than a sample store, so you can judge the render on the pieces you actually sell.
